Best Dressed Celebrities at Emmy Awards 2014
Completing with a sea of red and white gowns, 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards red carpet didn’t dissapoint us. I am sharing with you the evening’s most talked-about red carpet looks at this glamorous affair.
Halle Berry was radiant wearing an Elie Saab Fall 2014 dusty-pink chiffon gown with velvet trims and a thigh-high slit. The color was perfect on Halle! She totally nailed it!!! I also appreciate her non going all Angelina Jolie with the split even if with her body she totally could have. This is such an elegant look.
Camila Alves dazzled in a sleek white gown with all-over geometric cutouts from Zuhair Murad Resort 2015 when she strutted the Red Carpet. Design features included a scalloped bateau neckline, nude lining and narrow belt at the waist. The gown is spectacular on Camilla. Gorgeous, poised, statuesque, she looks sensational. Her presentation is divine. I’m blown away by the beauty of this look on her.
Heidi Klum looked every bit the super model she is the at the red carpet of the 2014 Emmy Awards. The ‘Project Runway’ hostess wore a coral Zac Posen Resort 2015 gown with draped short sleeves. Soft and beautiful, the draped detailing adds interest and the dramatic earrings are a nice contrast.
Lizzy Caplan hit the red carpet wearing a black and white silk gazar and sheer organza panel Donna Karan Atelier gown with high neck criss-cross straps. This gown is one of those that you really have to see from every angle to fully appreciate. The unique cut of the bodice and straps looked incredibly striking on Lizzy’s frame, and the surprise white when she turned was a great moment.
Keke Palmer took a stunning turn on the red carpet of the 2014 Emmy Awards. New to the cast of ‘Masters of Sex’ this season, the star wore a dramatic cobalt-colored Rubin Singer gown from the Resort 2015 collection. For an actress that many people remember as a little girl, I’m loving her grown-up turn on the carpet tonight.
Michelle Dockery was stunningly elegant wearing a delightful Rosie Assoulin Fall 2014 gown with petal-like detailing and plenty of color. It’s not every day you can say a gown looks better on the red carpet than it does on the runway, but I’m giving this one to Michelle. The unexpected colours and detailing – elegant yet sharp and original. She brings this look to life in such a stunning way.
Teyonah Parris blew me away on the red carpet at the 2014 Emmy Awards, and I’m sure she will do the same to you. The ‘Mad Men’ actress has always had a love for colour and print, and this Christian Siriano lime silk overlay gown with a striped bodice from the Resort 2015 collection has it ALL. Colour, personality, vibrancy and a fun-loving spirit that will etch this look in my memory forever. What a breath of fresh air.
Cat Deeley floated across the red carpet in a Burberry antique rose, degrade organza gown with a plunging neckline and sash detail at the waist. We saw a number of Emmys gowns that literally turned up the volume, with their staggeringly extravagant silhouettes, and this pretty design was no different.
Allison Williams added some major interest to the red carpet of the 2014 Emmy Awards. The ‘Girls’ star wore a dramatic Giambattista Valli Spring 2014 Couture gown that featured several points of interest. I can’t say enough about how much I love this look. It is such a dramatic gown while remaining understated–no crazy colors or designs, but still so visually intriguing.
