2015 Hottest Wedding Dress Trends
Happy New Year! Hope all of you enjoyed a wonderful holiday! Any plans for the new year? After seeing posts that contain some breath-takingly beautiful wedding dresses, I just wish I could have my wedding again and wear some of those stunning creations. So I’s like to talk about the hottest 2015 wedding dress trends, which has not only been my favorite so far, but also the most instrumental.
Wedding Dresses With Sheer Sleeves and Hints of Lace
Wedding dresses with illusion lace sleeves are HUGE during year 2014 and this fashion will continue to rule the bridal market for 2-015! Utterly romantic and soft, sheer sleeves with hints of lace made a big appearance on the bridal fashion runways this season. Reem Acra, Maggie Sottero and Temperley London all included pretty sleeve styles in their collections.
Wedding Dresses With Unique Fabrics
The classic wedding dress fabric gets an upgrade with incredibly unique additions. I love taking a steadfast silhouette and shaking it up with an unexpected fabric. The wedding dress with unique fabric is a playful juxtaposition of beauty, and it gave me the gumption to focus on funkier fabrics going forward.
Wedding Dresses with Statement Pieces
Wedding dresses with sleeves have been hot for a few seasons, and now bridal fashion designers are adding embellishments to the mix. I talk about this trend a lot because I truly feel it’s the best way to add that special shock and awe and also add some versatility to the wedding look. Maybe it’s an over-the-top feathered veil or a rhinestone draped body chain — either way, I love how brides are embracing a wow factor and adding that fizzy champagne topper to illuminate their look even more.
“Something Blue” Wedding Dresses
Blush and those soft pink wedding dresses have been popular for the last years and it’s time for some changes. Blue wedding dresses graced the bridal fashion runways this season for a look that’s nontraditional but still pretty and sophisticated. Designers Claire Pettibone, Liancarlo and Johanna Johnson, to name a few, featured pretty dress designs in blue
Wedding Dresses With Shoulder Streamers
Dresses with shoulder streamers remind me of those medieval gowns. The bridal fashion designers seem to bring back the Medieval fashion to the wedding gowns. Designers are adding fabric shoulder streamers on otherwise classic styles for a look that’s unexpected yet timeless. Top bridal designers like Marchesa, Monique Lhuillier all add pretty shoulder streamers to their creations, either big or small, to add extra elegance to the wedding look.
So these are my favorite 2015 wedding dress trends. Some may not be super-official yet, but I get a feeling that they will be HUGE for weddings in 2015, what do you think?
